Principle of Faith and Doctrine of The Lord's Barn Church
The church accepts the Scriptures as the revealed will of God, and adopts these statements of fundamental truths and doctrines.
God the Father
We long to be God-seekers. We seek first. Ministry for God without intimacy with God is a dead work. Mission to the world without a connection with the God who loves the world is a filthy rag. Anything of eternal consequence flows out of our relationship with Father. David said, “The intimate friendship of the Lord is reserved for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.” (Psalm 25:14) His response? “My eyes are ever towards the Lord.” (Psalm 25:15) This fluency speaks to the need for intimacy with God.

Jesus Christ
Scripture makes it very clear: It starts with Jesus. It ends with Jesus. It’s all about Jesus. And that means it’s not about us. Everything we do is to point people to Him. We long to embrace both individually and as a church body John the Baptist’s prayer: “You must become greater; I must become less”. In preaching, micro or mini church ministry, and anything we do, we seek to exalt the name of Jesus as the name above every name.

Holy Spirit
We are convinced that the fruit, power, and gifts of the Spirit must be the regular experience of the church. The contemporary church has neglected the Spirit. Although we cannot predict or control how the Spirit may move, we pray for and open ourselves to His promptings. We strongly encourage regular infillings & the stirring of every member’s gifts

Holy Bible
We believe every word is inspired by Holy Spirit and useful to us as said in 2 Timothy 3:16. We are utterly committed to the authority of the Scriptures and believe that God’s ability to preserve His Word is greater than humanity’s ability to corrupt it. We agree with C.H Spurgeon: the Bible is like a lion. It needs no defense; just open the cage. “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) We absolutely affirm the Bible, including the 39 books of the Old Covenant and the 27 books of the New Covenant, as God’s written revelation to humanity. It is the indispensable and infallible record of God’s self-disclosure. The Bible is the authoritative and normative rule and guide for the Christian life, conduct, & doctrine.

Baptism
We believe in full baptism only that is being immersed in water, This was taught and accepted by Jesus Christ our Lord and that makes simple for us to believe and accept too. John 3:3 No man can enter the kingdom of God until he is born of water and spirit. As a Church we teach the importance of Baptism and lead them to full baptism and pray that the Holy Spirit will also baptize them in Spirit.
